easier to build native sources via Ant. Provided new
gluegen.cpptasks.setup.compiler target which sets up
platform-independent compiler and linker IDs and other properties
which can be used in other projects' build files. Refactored JOGL
build to use some of these new properties and eliminate duplication;
more code savings possible. Added new GLWindow class to Newt
implementing GLAutoDrawable to increase code sharing, and supporting
making OpenGL calls inside of EventListener callbacks. Moved repaint()
method from GLAutoDrawable to AWTGLAutoDrawable. Added WindowEvent and
WindowListener interfaces to Newt, currently implemented on Windows
and AWT backends (X11 backend would need to support and watch for
window resizes -- FIXME added). Refactored common functionality into
Newt Event class. Renumbered event IDs to avoid collisions. Fixed
potential problems with removing event listeners inside of
EventListener callbacks.

Restructured JOGL and JOAL build processes to separately invoke
GlueGen's main build.xml before using it to generate their code.
Refactored OS/CPU detection code into gluegen-cpptasks.xml build file
in GlueGen workspace, which is now imported by both the JOGL and JOAL
build processes. Unfortunately it seems to be somewhat difficult to
completely factor out the C compiler configuration into the GlueGen
workspace so this has been left for a later date. Added missed
ALProcAddressLookup file to JOAL workspace. Updated JOGL and JOAL
build documentation. More documentation for the GlueGen workspace is
forthcoming.

apparently going to be brought back to the 10.2 Java on OS X as well).
Renamed host.properties to jogl.properties and changed build to look
for this file in user's home directory to avoid needing to always
change a file that is in the repository. Updated build documentation.

Biesiadowski. Modified their original build.xml to understand
dependencies between build phases (to avoid full rebuilds each time)
and to invoke the C compiler without requiring an external Makefile.
At this point the old Makefile/Makefile2 pair is obsolete and will be
deleted shortly, as soon as the Ant build has been tested on Linux and
Mac OS X. Additionally, Cygwin is no longer needed for the build; the
documentation will be updated to reflect this. Refactored some of the
stub_includes files to be common between platforms, yielding a build
process cleanup. Fixed bugs in Javadocs.
