Remove Java lint warnings.

Remove all Java lint warnings, by fixing the code if possible, and if
not possible then by inserting @SuppressWarnings. Some of these
@SuppressWarnings can be replaced later with @SafeVarargs if we
eventually drop support for Java 6.
